HDFC Bank is hiring for the position of Legal Manager / Deputy Manager in its Home Loan Collection – Legal Team in Delhi. The role involves handling litigation and banking recovery matters, with a particular focus on legal proceedings arising from home loan collections.
• Handle litigation and legal recovery matters relating to home loans
• Assist with proceedings before courts and other legal forums
• Handle banking recovery-related legal matters
• Conduct legal research and provide legal assistance on assigned matters
• Draft legal notices, pleadings and other legal documents
• Coordinate and follow up on ongoing court proceedings
• Apply relevant banking, recovery and commercial laws to assigned matters
• LL.B. qualification
• 1–3 years of post-LL.B. experience
• Prior litigation experience in banking recovery is mandatory
• Sound knowledge of the SARFAESI Act, 2002
• Knowledge of the RDB Act, 1993
• Knowledge of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881
• Knowledge of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007
• Knowledge of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015
• Sound understanding of court procedures and practices
• Strong legal drafting skills
