Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences is a specialized institution established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to promote education, research, and professional training in forensic sciences, cyber security, forensic law, and criminal justice. The institute is recruiting faculty members for its Schools of Law, Cyber Security & Digital Forensics, and Forensic Sciences.

School of Law – Areas of Specialization

Applications are invited in the following legal domains:

  • Cyber & Information Technology Law
  • Criminal Law
  • Corporate & Commercial Law
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
  • Constitutional Law
  • Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

 

  • Deliver lectures and academic instruction.
  • Conduct legal and interdisciplinary research.
  • Publish research papers and scholarly articles.
  • Mentor students and supervise academic projects.
  • Participate in curriculum development.
  • Organize moot courts, seminars, workshops, and academic events.
  • Contribute to institutional administration and academic governance.
  • Associate Professor

    • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
    • Master's Degree in Law with minimum 55% marks.
    • Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience.
    • At least 5 publications in Peer-Reviewed/UGC-listed journals.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in Cyber Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, ADR.
    • Moot Court, Drafting & Pleading experience.
    • Ph.D. supervision experience.


    Assistant Professor

    • Master's Degree in Law with at least 60% marks.
    • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (mandatory).
    • NET or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • Research publications preferred.


    Teaching Associate

    • Master's Degree in Law with at least 60% marks.
    • NET or equivalent qualification mandatory.
    • Ph.D. or JRF preferred.
    • Research publications preferred.
