How to Apply

Appellate Tribunal (SAFEMA) is a statutory appellate tribunal functioning under the Government of India. The Tribunal adjudicates matters arising under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act and other notified statutes.

  • Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, and legal issues
  • Assist in preparation of briefs, notes, and legal summaries
  • Research and retrieve information using legal databases
  • Support judicial and administrative functions of the Tribunal
  • Analyze judgments and legal precedents
  • Assist in drafting and documentation work
  • Law graduates (freshers or experienced) who have passed the final year LL.B. examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university
  • Must be enrolled with a Bar Council in India
  • Must be proficient in computer operations
  • Should be familiar with legal research databases such as SCC Online, Manupatra, and other search tools
