How to Apply

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is India’s statutory public body established for the protection and promotion of human rights. The Commission works on issues related to justice, governance, public policy, social welfare, and human rights advocacy across the country.

  • Conduct research and policy analysis on human rights issues
  • Assist in preparation of reports, briefs, and documentation
  • Support institutional and governance-related projects
  • Analyse legal, social, and policy frameworks
  • Contribute to developmental and public policy initiatives
  • Work on human rights-related field and desk research

  • Candidates must possess:

    • LL.B. degree OR
    • Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences such as:
      • Political Science
      • Sociology
      • International Relations
      • Social Work
      • Human Rights
      • Developmental Communication
      • Related disciplines

    Additional Requirements

    • Minimum 60% marks from a recognised university
    • Strong research aptitude and analytical skills
    • Interest or practical experience in human rights-related work preferred
