How to Apply

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is one of India’s premier law universities. The JSW Centre for the Future of Law was established at NLSIU in 2024 with support from the JSW Foundation to promote interdisciplinary research in law, technology, governance, constitutionalism, and system reform. The Centre undertakes policy-oriented and academic research on emerging legal and institutional issues. 

  • Conducting advanced legal and constitutional research
  • Assisting in research projects on formal and informal constitutionalism
  • Drafting research papers, policy briefs, and reports
  • Reviewing literature, statutes, and case laws
  • Supporting workshops, seminars, and academic events
  • Coordinating with faculty members and research teams
  • Assisting in publication and dissemination of research outputs 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or related disciplines
  • Prior research experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, writing, and legal research skills
  • Interest in constitutional law, governance, and policy research
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in academic projects
