The High Court of Judicature at Bombay has invited applications for the post of Judicial Research Assistant on a contractual basis. The opportunity allows law graduates and postgraduates to work closely with Hon’ble Judges of the Bombay High Court and its benches while gaining practical exposure in legal research, drafting, and judicial functioning.
• Conduct legal and case law research for Hon’ble Judges
• Assist in preparation of legal notes and memoranda
• Attend court proceedings and maintain records
• Support drafting and judicial assistance work
• Carry out research using legal databases and software
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the concerned Judge
• Candidates must possess an LL.B. degree with minimum 55% marks passed in first attempt OR hold an LL.M. degree
• Preference will be given to candidates with postgraduate qualification in Law
• Age should be between 21 to 30 years
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with legal research platforms such as SCC Online and Manupatra required
• Recommendation letter from Principal/Bar Association required as per official notification
