How to Apply

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is India’s market competition regulator established under the Competition Act, 2002. The Commission is responsible for preventing anti-competitive practices, regulating combinations and mergers, and ensuring fair competition in the Indian market. The internship programme provides practical exposure to competition law, antitrust regulation, market governance, and regulatory legal practice.

• Conduct research on Competition Law and Antitrust Law
• Assist in market regulation and policy analysis
• Perform case law analysis and legal research
• Gain exposure to merger control and abuse of dominance matters
• Understand regulatory functioning under the Competition Act
• Work with different divisions of the Commission

• Indian Nationals only
• 2nd & 3rd year students of 3-year LL.B. courses
• 4th & 5th year students of 5-year integrated LL.B. courses
• LL.M. students
• Students with exposure to Competition Law preferred
• Students with confirmed placements are not eligible
