The High Court of Jharkhand was established in Ranchi on November 15, 2000, following the state’s creation from Bihar, and operates from a modern, eco-friendly complex in Dhurwa inaugurated in 2023. It serves as the state’s highest judicial authority, handling constitutional, civil, and criminal matters with comprehensive e-filing and digital services.
The High Court Legal Services Committee, Ranchi invites applications for the post of Legal Assistant on a contractual basis.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Law Graduate or Post-Graduate from a University/College recognized by the Bar Council of India, or
Students studying in the 5th year of a 5-year LL.B. course, or
Students in the final year of a 3-year LL.B. course
Final selection of students will be subject to passing the final year LL.B. examination prior to engagement.
