The Legal Aid Defense Counsel System (LADCS) functions under the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) to provide free and effective legal representation to accused persons under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
Represent accused persons in criminal trials
Draft bail applications, replies, and arguments
Conduct trial work including examination of witnesses
Prepare legal strategy and case documentation
Coordinate with courts and legal aid authorities
Educational Qualification: LL.B (LL.M / Ph.D. desirable)
